Good Neighbor Outreach

A mission-minded church is one made up of Good Neighbors: Good Neighbors to those in our community, Good Neighbors to those in our state and nation, and Good Neighbors to those around the world. The goal of the Missions Committee is to initiate mission-minded projects that will empower members of A&M UMC to be Good Neighbors.

HANDS & FEET OF CHRIST

A&M UMC is committed to sharing the love of Christ in the local and global community. To accomplish this goal, the church is involved in several projects. A&M UMC’s Mission Team helps coordinate the church’s outreach ministry. In addition to the numerous community outreach programs we support on an informal ongoing basis, the Ministry Team has selected these Focus Ministries: ZOE Ministries, BCS Habitat for Humanity, the Brazos Church Pantry, BCS Salvation Army, College Hills Elementary, Unlimited Potential, BCS Together, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of College Station.

IN THE WORLD

ZOE is a distinctive three-year program, developed in Africa that empowers orphans and vulnerable children around the world to overcome extreme poverty, become fullyself-reliant, and learn of God’s love for them.
