Blessing of the Backpacks

As a new school year begins, we invite students and educators of all ages to bring something that represents your daily work and learning. Join us on Sunday, August 16 during all worship services for a special time of blessing as we pray over backpacks, briefcases, favorite mugs, Stanley cups, and anything else that goes with you into the year ahead. This is a moment to pause, center ourselves, and ask God’s guidance, protection, and presence in the classrooms, offices, and spaces we’ll step into this year.
