From the timeless works of Bach, Brahms, Mozart, Handel, and other great composers to congregational hymns sung each Sunday, A&M UMC is committed to offering music that enriches worship and points people toward God. Our historic sanctuary, remarkable pipe organ, and dedicated musicians have made this church a destination for sacred music in the Brazos Valley. It's a tradition we're proud to continue.
From the opening hymn on Sunday morning to the soaring strains of Handel's Messiah each December, music has long been at the heart of worship at A&M United Methodist Church.

Join the Choir This Fall
Have you ever thought about singing in the choir? There's no better time to start. Our choir librarians have been diligently organizing the sheet music for our Choir Kickoff Party on Wednesday, August 12. Returning members, new singers, friends, and families are all invited to gather for an evening of fellowship before rehearsals begin.
No audition or experience is required! You just need a willingness to worship through music and be part of a welcoming community. Whether you've sung for decades or are thinking about joining for the first time, we'd love to have you.
Music That Reaches Beyond Our Walls
Music at A&M UMC doesn't end on Sunday morning. Throughout the year, our sanctuary becomes a gathering place for nationally recognized musicians, community concerts, and collaborations with local arts organizations.
This fall, we're pleased to host the American Patchwork Quartet in partnership with the Friends of Chamber Music and later welcome the renowned Academy of St. Martin in the Fields to our sanctuary.
These concerts continue our commitment to bringing exceptional music to Bryan-College Station while strengthening partnerships across our community.
A Christmas Tradition
Handel's Messiah, performed in our sanctuary every December, has become a beloved Christmas tradition in Bryan-College Station and our area. Featuring professional soloists, orchestra, and the unforgettable Hallelujah Chorus, Messiah has become one of the signature musical events of the Christmas season.
Music for Every Generation
One of the unique strengths of the Music Ministry at A&M UMC is that every generation has a place to participate. Children learn music through Sunday evening choir. Youth ring handbells and chimes. College students lend their talents to all facets of worship while continuing to grow as musicians. Adults of every age sing together each week, creating a choir that reflects the diversity and unity of our congregation.
Music isn't simply something we perform. It's something we share together.
