Handel’s “Messiah” Sing-A-Long

Handel’s Messiah is the most well-known oratorio (choral and orchestral work with texts based on scriptures) ever written. Each year millions of people around the world sing and play Handel’s great masterwork and this year we are bringing it to College Station in hopes that this will be a yearly event.
This will be what’s known as a “Sing-A-Long” where concert attendees will be encouraged to bring their own music scores or scan a QR code on a device where they can view the music and actually sing with the orchestra and choir on the major choruses.
Professional soloists and orchestra will also be featured along with our organist, Dr. Jungjin Kim, playing our magnificent Peragallo organ which is perfect for a concert like this.
This will be available to attend in-person in the A&M UMC Sanctuary and also online on our Facebook and YouTube pages.
