Music Makers at A&M Methodist has been producing a Musical Camp every summer for over 20 years under the leadership of Will and Julie McCollum amongst other church staff. This year we are producing a new-ish musical called “In the Image” by Mark Burrows. “Mr. Mark” is a renowned composer and author of all things related to children in church! Children’s Musicals are a wonderful way to keep engaged at church, and with friends, in the summer and also give your children opportunities to discover their gifts in many ways. This year our camp will take place August 2nd – 6th from 1:00 – 5:00 pm at A&M UMC. They will learn about music, drama, and set design – all while creating a fully-staged musical with live, professional musicians. Music will be led by A&M Methodist’s Director of Music, Michael Vaughn, and accompanied by Dr. Jungjin Kim. The full performance of the musical will be at 11am Sunday Worship on August 8th in the Great Hall.
