The primary goal of the A&M UMC “Vision Path” is to see all of our members involved in some kind of small group activity, whether it be a Sunday school class, a small home group, or a Bible study. We don’t grow in knowledge, love, and service of God and neighbor by remaining in isolation or even by attending worship services. We grow as we reach out—as we nourish intentional relationships with fellow believers, giving and receiving in mutual accountability. Small group opportunities are intended to help those who are willing to commit to growth.

Would you like to see your faith grow?  It's easy to opt out of opportunities that we convince ourselves may be demanding or in some way outside our accustomed routines.  Consider whether the goal of increasing your closeness to Christ is worth the effort? 

Home Small Groups:  One is Waiting for You!
A&M UMC began offering Home Small Groups just a few years ago. Since that time sermon-based small groups have developed as well as topical studies selected by the various groups. What better group could there be to join than one that nurtures our faith?  Now you can join a small group at any time, and we are eager to encourage everyone in the congregation to do so ... and to maintain the commitment with intentional effort.  Consider it part of the process of cultivating the love of God and neighbor to which the Lord calls us.  Or consider it your contribution to the lives of other church members.  Either way, you will benefit.
