Community, Awe, Relevance, and Inspiration

These are the desires that A&M United Methodist Church has as we design worship services.  Community means that we worship God together, but it also means that we sense that togetherness.  It is our hope and goal that every person that worship at A&M UMC feels at home and that they belong - that they feel that sense of community.  Awe means that there is a sense of God - a moment unlike others where the presence of the One who is beyond us is experienced.  This is the moment for which so many souls hunger.  Relevance means that what is experienced on Sunday has some impact on our lives on Monday.  We at A&M UMC seek to make worship relevant for the college student, the financial consultant, the university staff, the family man, the single adult, the homemaker, the teenager and so many others who enter into worship at A&M UMC. Inspiration means there is a "so what" in every worship experience, a sense that life ought to be a little different as we leave.  Priorities may be shifted, behavior might be altered, self-esteem might be enhanced, grace/forgiveness might be applied, or a number of other responses that matter to one's life.

Traditional Worship:
These services follow the traditional United Methodist order of worship, feature traditional hymns from the hymnal, and special music sung by our Chancel Choir.  These service begin at 8:30 am and 11:00 am in the Sanctuary.

Contemporary Worship: An opportunity for worship at A&M Methodist Church starting at 9:45 a.m. in the Great Hall of the Christian Life Center. This is a convergence of worship, both old and new. For more information click here.
