NURSERY CARE FOR INFANTS AND TODDLERS
is available in
the Main Building during Sunday School and all worship
hours. Ushers and greeters are happy to give you directions
and to assist you. |
|
PAGERS
ARE AVAILABLE IN THE NURSERY
-
We have an electronic
pager system in the nursery area. This system allows the
church to do two things; we can reach parents immediately
without searching the buildings and second, only the parent
will be able to collect their child from the nursery when
they return the pager. This greatly enhances the safety
of your child and our nursery. |
|
PARKING
-
Abundant parking is available around the church as well as
in the two parking lots behind the church. One of
the lots is reserved for Visitors to our church. Click

and parking

EXTRA PARKING OFFERED IN SHELTERED AREAS
-
Several hundred FREE ADDITIONAL
COVERED PARKING SPACES are available every Sunday at the
College Station parking garage on College Main St and at the
Texas A&M parking garage on the corner of University and
Ireland. To use
the College Station parking garage, take a parking card at
the electronic gate, although you will not have to pay.
When you are ready to leave, run the card through the pay
machine which will authenticate it for no payment and use
the authenticated card to exit the parking garage.

We hope you will choose to worship at
A&M United Methodist Church. We hope the worship hour is one of
inspiration, assistance, and enjoyment for your life, and you will
choose to return to worship with us again. We also invite you to
participate in the many other opportunities for Christian growth
offered by A&M Church both on Sunday and throughout the week.
|

These are the desires that A&M United Methodist Church
has as we design worship services.
Community
means that we worship God together, but it also means
that we sense that togetherness. It is our hope and
goal that every person that worship at A&M UMC feels at
home and that they belong - that they feel that sense of
community. Awe
means that there is a sense of God - a moment
unlike others where the presence of the One who is
beyond us is experienced. This is the moment for which
so many souls hunger.
Relevance
means that what is experienced on Sunday has some impact
on our lives on Monday. We at A&M UMC seek to make
worship relevant for the college student, the financial
consultant, the university staff, the family man, the
single adult, the homemaker, the teenager and so many
others who enter into worship at A&M UMC.
Inspiration
means there is a "so what" in every worship experience,
a sense that life ought to be a little different as we
leave. Priorities may be shifted, behavior might be
altered, self-esteem might be enhanced,
grace/forgiveness might be applied, or a number of other
responses that matter to one's life.
Community, Awe,
Relevance, Inspiration: these are the
desires of A&M UMC regarding worship.
Three
worship services are held every
Sunday at A&M United Methodist Church. |
|

These services follow the
traditional United Methodist
order of worship, feature
traditional hymns from the
hymnal, and special music
sung by our
Chancel Choir.
