CHANCEL CHOIR (ALL AGES) *
Rehearsals resume January 2, 2008
This
non-auditioned choir welcomes all who love to sing. Those
who have sung in high school and college choirs will find
the Chancel Choir to be a fellowship within a large congregation
and a great place to participate in the leadership of worship
while singing a wide variety of musical styles. Every effort
is made to teach basic elements of musicianship and vocal
technique.
Rehearsal Time:
Wednesdays, 7:00 - 8:30 pm (childcare provided) and Sundays, 30
minutes prior to the
8:30 and/or 10:50 am worship services
GROWN UP CHOIR (AGE 55 and UP)
Rehearsals resume January 22, 2008
Our newest ensemble features opportunities for the more mature
singer who loves the music they grew up with. This ensemble will
sing gospel songs, hymn, and old standards from the big band era.
All over the age of 55 are welcome to join and no musical
abilities are required...just a love for music!

WESLEYAN CHOIR (YOUNG ADULTS)

Our
university-aged Wesleyan Choir is a non-auditioned ensemble that
offers music in worship one Sunday each month during the academic
year and tours annually.

Time: Thursdays, 5:30 - 6:30 pm
ARTISTIC ADVENTURES (K - 4TH GRADE)
Rehearsals begin August 22, 2007
Meeting
Wednesdays after school, this group gives a whole new slant on
Children's Music Ministry. We not only teach in the usual
choral setting, but also enable our children with artistic skills
to grow and to attain an understanding that these experiences will
foster their life long appreciation of the arts.

CANTERBURY BELLS *
Rehearsals resume January 15, 2008
This is
the bell choir for the experienced ringer to provide music one
Sunday per month during the academic year. It consumes a
large amount of repertoire each year, therefore it is important
each member be able to read music.

available.

COVENTRY BELLS*
Rehearsals begin
August 23, 2007
This bell
choir is open to adults and university students, and it equips the
beginner and the intermediate ringer for a lifetime of bell
ringing. Space is available and the group will ring once a
month during the academic year.

Time: Thursdays, 6:30 - 7:30 pm
CROSSFIRE BELLS
(7TH - 12TH GRADE)
Rehearsals begin August 26, 2007
This bell choir is open to youth in the 7th-12th grades, and
it equips the all ringers with the skills to read music and ring.
This group will tour to Walt Disney World in the summer of 2008.

CHERUB BELLS (3RD - 6TH GRADE) Rehearsals begin

This bell
choir is open to all children who are in the 3rd - 6th grade.

A&M UMC BRASS CHOIR *
Rehearsals resume January 20, 2008
The newest ensemble to our
music ministry, the brass choir will present the music
of Baroque composers, great
hymn writers throughout time, and accompany the congregation and choir. This
group is open to all who currently play or have played in the past
and would like to again.

MUSIC MAKERS
(K - 7TH GRADE)
This week long summer camp involves children with every aspect
of a musical production. They work with adults to learn
music, lines, acting, and movement, plus they build elaborate sets
and props. This week includes a fun travel day to a nearby
attraction and the finale is a presentation given for the
congregation. |

NorthGate Cinema Project
: Returning in Fall of 2008
Join us in the Great Hall for a fun filled movie night each
month! Not only will you watch a newly released movie, but you
will also be able to participate in our pre-movie and
intermission fun featuring our regular MC, Sterling Allen, and
his guest Co-Host for the month. This event will coincide with
Parent's Nite Out, so it's perfect for a date or just come by
yourself and join in the fun. All movies will be a safe PG-13
or lower and once a quarter will be a G rated family film. THIS
EVENT IS FREE!
