Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.    —  Hebrews 10:23-25

The Mission of the College Ministry is to promote, equip, and encourage Christ-centered growth inward through in-depth Bible studies, outward through intentional outreach, upward through passionate worship in an accepting and loving environment. Being a college ministry, we have but are not limited to our three areas of emphasis for ministry. We have events ranging from social gatherings to spiritual retreats and the occasional dodge ball game in the gym. Due to the unique culture of College students and the University community, students have a strong direction in this ministry and play and active role in leadership.

Inward -
Small groups and in depth Bible studies

We encourage students to join a small group or Bible Study. There are many different studies offered and different times as well in order accommodate students’ schedules. Also, students can join groups with other students or multi-generational groups.

Outward -
Outreach with missions, The Coffee House, evangelism

The Coffee House is a vital part of College Ministries and our passion for missions. The church always has mission projects which students can be engaged at any time and in May right after finals we go to College UMARMY and in January we go to Matamoros, Mexico.

Upward -
Mosaic Worship

Every Thursday evening at 6:30 we gather in the Great Hall (gym) for a free meal and then have a student worship service; Mosaic. Mosaic begins at 7:30 in the Annex Sanctuary and usually lasts an hour. In this time of worship students are involved in leadership and engaged in worship.
