INVEST |
HELPING OUR
SOLDIERS
We are collecting sweat suits for wounded soldiers who are
evacuated to Germany from Iraq and Afghanistan. Colors preferred are
black, navy, or gray and sizes preferred are large to XXL to
accommodate bandages.
We are now sending used cell phones for recycling to Cell
Phones for Soldiers, a 501c3 non-profit organization that has
raised almost $1 million in donations and distributed more than
400,000 prepaid calling cards to soldiers serving overseas. To learn
more about this worthwhile program, visit their website at

Collection boxes for all these items are located at the end of the
hall, near the Parlor doors. |

Sterling and Ed are looking for someone to assist with the music
library. This volunteer position would require approximately one
hour per week to help keep our beautiful music library up-to-date

VETERANS NEEDED FOR FESTIVAL OF THE FOURTH
We are seeking veterans or active duty military personnel to
participate in our Festival of the Fourth to be held on Sunday, June

PARTICIPANTS FOR NEW BIBLE STUDIES
Diane Welch Memorial Bible Study – May 11 & 18 during the Sunday
School hour. Laurinda Kwiatkowski will teach the first two chapters
of James on May 11, and Mike Workman will teach the last three
chapters on May 18. This Memorial Bible study is sponsored by the
Lost and Found Sunday School class in memory of Diane Welch, one of
their long time members. All adults are invited to attend. The class
will be held in the Sanctuary with refreshments served in the
Welcome Center
from 9:30 to 9:45.

SHARE! is looking for Christians –with or without children– willing
to share
their homes, love, and understanding with a youngster for a school
year or semester. The children, ages 15-18, are covered by
insurance and bring their own spending money. Host families provide
room, board, and a loving environment. If you would like to
