Confirmation Class
One of the most
exciting ministries the Church participates in as a family is the
Baptismal
Journey. This process of Christian discipleship, begun at Baptism with
vows made on behalf of the
children, is completed at Confirmation when we are made accountable to
those vows by instructing our young people in the basics of our
Faith. Confirmation is offered to our young people when they are
in the sixth grade. Confirmation class will meet on Sunday mornings at
9:45 am in Room C-214 September to May. A special highlight of the Confirmation
course is two weekend retreats filled with lessons games, workshops,
hiking, canoeing, worship, singing, a bonfire and more! There is also
a Confirmation Banquet which provides a special family celebration. The
students will then be recognized on Confirmation Sunday at the end of
their confirmation journey.
