Nursery

INFANT/TODDLER - Nursery care for toddlers and infants is available on the first floor of the Christian Life Center during Sunday School and all worship hours. During the Sunday School hour, the teachers emphasize a Bible story through hands-on crafts.  The nursery is divided into four age groups. Infant are promoted based on their developmental kills; toddler-aged children and older will be promoted on the first Sunday of June.

We hope that you are willing to support the Nursery Ministry with your prayers and time! What is an L. V. N. ?...

Children's Music & Arts

ARTISTIC ADVENTURES (K - 5TH GRADE)
Meeting Wednesdays after school, this group gives a whole new slant on Children's Music Ministry. We not only teach in the usual choral setting, but also enable our children with artistic skills to grow and to attain an understanding that these experiences will foster their life long appreciation of the arts.

Rehearsal Schedule:
3:30 pm Gathering / Snack Time
3:45 pm Artistic Activity Time
4:15 pm Choir Time
5:00 pm Parent Pick-Up

MUSIC MAKERS (K - 7TH GRADE)
This week long summer camp involves children with every aspect of a musical production.  They work with adults to learn music, lines, acting, and movement, plus they build elaborate sets and props. This week includes a fun travel day to a nearby attraction and the finale is a presentation given for the congregation.

                          Confirmation Class

One of the most exciting ministries the Church participates in as a family is the Baptismal Journey. This process of Christian discipleship, begun at Baptism with vow made on behalf of the children is completed at Confirmation when we are made accountable to those vows by in instructing our young people in the basics of our Faith.  Confirmation is offered to our young people when they are in the sixth grade. The course is four months long meeting on Sunday evening , February through May. special highlight of the Confirmation course includes a retreat weekend filled with lessons games, workshops, hiking, canoeing worship, singing, a bonfire and more!  And of course, there is a Confirmation Banquet a special family celebration planned before Confirmation Sunday.  Confirmation is highly interactive, making use of mentors, field trips to local Outreach Ministries in our area, participation in the design and leadership of worship service, fun and learning!
