Disciple: Remember Who You Are
You must have
completed Disciple I before taking this class. Disciple III is
a 32-week study of Old Testament prophets and the letters of
Paul. Participants will discover how the shared memory of the people of
God helps make us a community. Participants in this thirty-two-week
study will read the major and minor Old Testament prophets, with the
exception of Daniel, and will read the thirteen letters traditionally
attributed to Paul. To establish the historical context in which the
prophets spoke for God, daily reading assignments also draw on the books
of Deuteronomy through Chronicles. Study of the prophets will follow
their historical sequence rather than their biblical sequence. The
dating of Paul’s letters influences the sequence of their study.

Beth Moore: Patriarchs
(for women)
This study is primarily from
Genesis, chapters 12–50, Beth Moore provides fascinating details from
the lives of the patriarchs. She explores important concepts such as
blessing, covenant, and promise, and how they forever shaped the lives
of Abraham and his descendents. Through this remarkable study,
participants will discover God's pursuit of relationship and the
unfolding of His earthly plan: How through one nation—and ultimately one
man—all people on earth will be blessed.

Companions in Christ: The Way of
Prayer
The Way
of Prayer is a 10-week study resource designed to help people expand
their understanding of the nature and practice of prayer. Many
Christians grow up with a limited vision of what prayer is and how to
pray. The Way of Prayer offers many forms to explore and practice, both
individually and as a group. People with different temperaments,
spiritual types, and learning styles will each find expressions of
prayer that draw them closer to God. They will also learn to integrate
body, mind, and spirit in prayer, and to live a more creative rhythm
between the inner life and the outward journey of service. This resource
can help bring greater scope and vitality into the prayer life of your
congregation.
This is a "follow-up" course and participants should be familiar with
participating in small group study. Please contact Amy Mason at

In depth experience with the Bible is required. This study explores how
people have interpreted Romans through the ages and this becomes a good
