The
Journey: Traveling through the Bible in a Year.

A&M UMC is participating a church wide journey of reading
through the Bible in a year. There are weekly vistas as we focus
on one of the stories in that week's readings for the message. There
are Small Groups for those interested in discussing
the week's readings. and sharing in the fellowship that is small
groups. "The Grand Sweep", the daily
commentary provided by Dr. Ellsworth Kalas, will assist you in this
journey, is available through the church office or on Sundays after
services. Donations are appreciated to cover the cost of these books.
However, we have set no price on them so that every household will
have a copy. Together let's prepare for The Journey.

Also, there are two pastor’s led studies
on Wednesdays which will supplement and help answer questions
regarding the weeks readings for The Journey. There is
one Brown Bag Study which meets at 12 noon and another
which meets at 6:15 pm after Wednesday Night Supper. Contact
kathleene@am-umc.org
for more information.
If you do
not have a copy of "The Grand Sweep" yet, you may call the
church office at (979) 846-8731. In the mean time, click

the pages for the first few weeks.

Brazos Church Pantry
Volunteers for the Brazos Church Pantry have become fewer
in number, yet the need in our community is greater. The work load
of the Church Pantry volunteers is ever increasing. Due to the
stresses caused by "more work and too few hands" many volunteers
have left or are considering leaving. Unless the Church Pantry
becomes adequately staffed, it may be forced to additionally reduce
hours of operation or even close its doors. PLEASE CONSIDER
VOLUNTEERING! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to
call the Church Pantry (979)
